The Roanoke Virginia Firemen FCU was founded by firefighters in 1935 to help RFD firefighters purchase uniforms and gear.  Today, the credit union continues to be operated by firefighters to better serve our membership.  Our volunteer Board of Directors consists of both active and retired firefighters who are chosen by the membership of the Roanoke Virginia Firemen FCU.  Working together, our ambition is to provide superior financial services to our members at fair and reasonable rates.  We also offer credit card merchant services including high risk services from High Risk Charge  and High Risk Payment Service.

Our mission is simple - not just to meet, but to exceed our members expectations in meeting all of their financial needs today, tomorrow, and for the future while promoting the use of credit wisely, and improving the economic well-being of our members with unmatched dedication.
